True beauty has absolutely nothing to do with what you actually want. Immanuel Kant figured
this out way back in 1790. He said if you look at a fancy palace and just think about
living in it, you aren't judging beauty, you are just thirsty. Real taste is disinterested.
You have to simply enjoy the vibe without wanting to own it, eat it, or use it.
But here is the wildest part. When you call something beautiful, you aren't just
sharing an opinion like you do with food. You are subconsciously demanding that every
other human on earth agrees with you. You aren't being nice, you are enforcing
a universal rule.
