The Offering Box Thief Confesses

STOLE from the church offering box meant for a struggling family. Let me tell you

what happened at Bishop Lamar's church last week. The Love Committee was collecting money

for Sister Jones and her family who'd been going through hard times. For three days straight,

the whole congregation participated with pure joy. Everybody throwing in bills,

coins, whatever they could spare. The energy in that church was electric.

People were excited to bless this family. Then someone broke into the sealed box and took most

of the money. When Bishop Lamar found out, he was furious. Called the police
