The Origins of the Israel-Palestine Conflict

There has never been a sovereign country called Palestine. Under the Ottoman Empire,

the area was just provincial land. After World War I, it became the British

Mandate of Palestine a colonial administration, not a nation. In 1947, the UN offered two

states: one Jewish, one Arab. Jews accepted it. Arab leaders rejected it.

In 1948, five Arab armies invaded the new State of Israel. That’s how the conflict

actually began not thousands of years ago, not because of colonizers, but because the

partition was rejected and a war was started. That’s the factual timeline. Everything else

on here is just noise.
