The Power of Jesus’ Silence

There were moments when Jesus spoke with authority and moments when He chose silence.

When false accusations were thrown at Him, Scripture says: “Jesus made no reply.” This silence confused

His accusers. It unsettled the authorities. And it still challenges readers today.

Jesus had answers. He had truth. He had the power to silence every lie.

Yet He remained silent. This was not weakness. It was obedience. Isaiah foretold

it: “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth.”

Jesus understood something profound: Not every accusation deserves a response. Not every challenge
