The Power of Safe Connections

I don’t think people talk enough about this. You can want to heal all you want,

but if you’re surrounded by chaos, it’s fucking hard to change. Yes,

you’re responsible for yourself. But you are also shaped by who you’re around.

What changed everything for me was finally looking at my own shit without hating myself

for it. Saying: this is where I am. I’m human. I’m still learning.

And being met with understanding, not judgment. Safe people change everything.
