So the issue with thumb pulling is when you're using your thumbs to pull your palate a little
bit wider, you're really not actually causing any bone remodeling. All you're doing
is moving around soft tissue and moving around your teeth especially. Now,
that's gonna be problematic 'cause that could give you issues like dental malocclusions,
uh, crooked teeth, and it's just overall not a good idea. And yeah,
in comparison to tongue posture like mewing, that's over a long period.
So the gains stop the minute you stop forcing your thumbs up your mouth. And so with something
