Most families waste thirty dollars a week on food they never eat. I used to
be one of them until I discovered the reverse meal plan method. Instead of planning
meals then shopping, I shop the sales first and plan around what I bought.
Every Sunday I check what proteins are marked down, grab those, then build my
week around them. Monday it's grilled with rice. Tuesday I shred the leftovers into
tacos. Wednesday the bones make soup stock. I also keep a running list
on my fridge of everything in my freezer because out of sight truly is out
of mind. Since I started this, my grocery bill dropped by forty
