Oh, we've passed the point of fighting. There's no one slamming the door.

I guess we're finally realizing what we've tried hard to ignore. That this love's

been slowly dying like roses in October's chill. If our anger hasn't killed it

by now, our indifference surely will. But don't you try to come

for me. I'm not as broke up as I seem to be.

Love was just a muddy river, now the river's all run dry. And we've got

no more tears to cry, we've got no more tears to cry.

Why do we hope it lasts forever? Mama's right, nothing ever does.
