The Science of Freezing Fat Cells

The science behind this is called cryolipolysis. Right. Which literally means fat breakdown

by cold, but I have a feeling the science is a little more elegant than that.

Yeah? How does it manage to target only the fat and leave everything else,

skin, muscle alone? This is the absolute key to the whole thing.

It's based on a principle called differential freezing. Differential freezing, okay.

It's just a scientific way of saying that your fat cells are much, much more sensitive

to cold than the other cells in your body. Wait, really?

So fat freezes at a higher temperature than, say, skin?
