The Scratching in Room 237

Room 237 was never supposed to be rented out. The hotel manager kept it locked for

a reason. Three guests died in that room over the span of two years.

All of them reported the same thing before they were found. Scratching sounds coming from inside

the walls. My friend Jake didn't believe the stories. He broke into the room during our

senior trip. At first nothing happened. Then we heard it. Scratch scratch

scratch. Coming from everywhere at once. The walls, the ceiling,

under the floor. Jake started laughing nervously until we saw his reflection in the mirror.

Something was standing right behind him. But when we turned around, nothing was there.
