Last month I discovered something wild about horror movies that completely changed how I watch
them. The reason we love being scared is actually therapeutic. Your brain releases
dopamine and adrenaline. It is like exposure therapy you pay for, which helps you
process real anxiety safely. Most iconic horror villains move unnaturally slow,
yet they always catch their victims. Primal fear. Scariest scenes happen in kitchens and
bedrooms because our brain struggles when safe spaces become dangerous. Horror isn't about
the monster. It is about confronting terrors while knowing we're actually safe.
