The Shadow Whispered My Name

I live alone in a small apartment. Last night, I woke up at 3 AM to the sound of

heavy breathing. At first, I thought it was just me dreaming… but it didn’t stop.

I froze. The sound was right next to my bed. I reached for my phone to check the

time… and that’s when I saw it. A shadow. Standing in the corner.

It wasn’t moving… just watching me. I didn’t dare breathe. Then it whispered my name.

I’ve been sleeping in the living room ever since.
