The Silence of the Cosmos

The universe is huge. Embarrassingly huge. Billions of galaxies. Billions of stars.

Planets everywhere. Statistically, intelligent life should be common. And yet —

silence. No signals. No visitors. Not even a wrong number.

This is the Fermi Paradox. Space seems full of opportunity… but strangely empty

of civilizations that last. Maybe most species don’t survive their own intelligence.

Or maybe they do — and quickly learn not to announce themselves.

Which leaves one awkward option: They’re out there… they’re watching… and they’ve seen

enough.
