The Silence of the Universe

“The universe is enormous. Ridiculously enormous. Billions of galaxies. Billions of stars

in each. Planets everywhere. Statistically, intelligent life should be common.

And yet — complete silence. No messages. No visitors. No cosmic ‘hey’.

This is the Fermi Paradox. The universe looks perfectly designed for life…

except for the part where nobody shows up. Either intelligent civilizations

destroy themselves, go quiet, or never get far enough to matter. So if aliens are

out there, they’re either very rare — or very smart about not answering.

Which should worry us more.
