The Silent Confession

The clock struck midnight. He sat alone in the shadows, staring at the

small reels of the recorder. Every word felt like a weight being lifted,

yet heavier than the silence that preceded it. He began to speak,

his voice a ghost in the dimly lit room. This was the truth he had

carried for twenty years. Now, it belonged to the machine.
