The Silent Stop

People in my town say there’s a bus stop you’re never supposed to visit after midnight.

Not because it’s dangerous… but because it’s not empty. They call it The

Silent Stop. It sits at the edge of town, half-hidden by trees. No lights.

No bench. No route number. If you try to look it up, it doesn’t exist.

Maps skip over it. Drivers pretend it isn’t there. But locals know. The legend says

the stop only works at 12:01 AM. Not midnight. One minute after. That’s when the

air changes. Sound fades. Even insects go quiet. If you stand there

long enough, you’ll hear it— footsteps behind you. Slow.
