the man that died mysteriously and left a hidden message behind? In 1948,

a well dressed man was discovered lying against a seawall on Somerton Beach in Australia,

already dead. There were no signs of violence, no struggle, and no witnesses

who saw how he died. Every label had been carefully removed from his clothing, down to the stitching.

An autopsy could not determine a cause of death, even after extensive testing.

However, inside a hidden pocket sewn into his pants, was a tiny piece

of paper that read "Tamam Shud", meaning "it is finished". The phrase was traced to a rare book of
