lenses. I stumbled on this while photographing one last summer and couldn't believe
what I was reading. These ancient hunters have been perfecting their vision for
over three hundred million years. Their compound eyes wrap around their entire head,
giving them a complete sphere of awareness. With zero blind spots,
dragonflies are already tracking prey behind them while we turn our heads. Bees navigate using
polarized light patterns invisible to us. Ants can lift fifty times their body weight through
sheer muscle density. Moths remember flower locations from their caterpillar days despite completely liquefying during
