The Value of Resilience Over Perfection

Two explorers set out into a vast desert. One carried a brand-new, high-tech compass.

The other had an old, battered one with a cracked glass and a sticking needle.

As a blinding sandstorm hit, the new compass died, leaving its owner

panicked. "We're lost!" he cried. His companion remained calm.

He pulled out his old compass. Its needle wavered, but with gentle taps and careful

observation, he guided it. "This old friend may be imperfect," he said,

"but it taught me resilience. It forces me to pay attention and trust my judgment."

He navigated by the wind's shifts and his compass, leading them through the storm.
