The 'What If' Game to Prep Your Kids

I'll start with one that can be extremely useful, and I love to play this all the time,

but this is the what if game. So during dinner or during a car ride,

you know, play the what if game. What if the power went out right now?

What would we do first? What if we were at the park and got separated,

what's our plan? What if we went to a baseball game and there was a lightning strike?

All sorts of different scenarios that you can just ask what their take is on it.

How would they react? And then you can gauge what their preparedness level already is and kind

of help to guide what you want that response to look like more effectively, more efficiently,
