Medieval witch hunters tracked their prey through moonlit forests for three days straight.

She disguised herself as a peasant selling herbs at the market, but one suspicious priest noticed her

fingers stained green from nightshade. They followed her to an abandoned mill where she hid

in the rafters, breathing shallow, praying to old gods. A farmer's dog barked. Torches surrounded

the building. She ran but tripped on her cloak. Twenty hands grabbed her as she screamed

ancient curses that made their ears bleed. By dawn, flames consumed

her body while she laughed, promising her sisters would return. The priests never

slept peacefully again.
