Thirsting for God's Presence

Have you ever felt empty — like nothing in this world can satisfy you? The Bible says:

“O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You,

my whole body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” —

Psalm 63:1 David wrote this while in the wilderness — far from comfort, yet near to God.

He realized that true satisfaction doesn’t come from possessions, success,

or even safety… it comes from God’s presence. When life feels dry and your soul

feels weary, remember this: the wilderness is not the absence of God — it’s the place
