Three Historic Events on October 3rd

Stole history happened three times on October 3rd and nobody talks about it. 1831 kicks off with

thousands flooding London streets demanding parliamentary reform. These weren't polite protesters either.

Angry crowds waved massive banners through the city, basically telling the government to

give ordinary people a voice or else. The pressure was so intense it helped push through the

Great Reform Act the following year. Fast forward to 1952 and Britain just casually opens

its first nuclear power station at Harwell. While everyone was still figuring out

this whole atomic thing, the Brits were like hold my tea and started generating

electricity from nuclear reactions. This tiny facility basically launched the entire nuclear
