Torn Between Shadows

Heartbeating slow, shadows dance in the crack. Night whispers secrets, spines,

eyes to the back. Creak of the cradle, I'm rocked by

regret. Strings sing sorrow, I ain't healed yet. Ghosts of my

past fill my face like a mask. Choking on memories, can't finish the

task. Torn between shadows, can't find my ground. Echoes of silence,

I'm lost in the sound. Torn between shadows, caught in the

sway. A lullaby but the demons won't play.

It always rumble, feels like war in my chest. Strings cutting deep, no knife can
