Transcending Sorrow, Attaining Final Peace

Krishna now reveals the promise that lies at the very end of the spiritual journey.

He says: “Having reached Me, the great souls do not return

to this impermanent world of sorrow. They attain the highest perfection.” Pause here.

Krishna does not call this world evil — He calls it duḥkhālayam… a dwelling of suffering.

And aśāśvatam… temporary, always changing. Joy comes… and fades. Success arrives… and slips away.

Relationships form… and transform. Even the body itself does not stay. This is not pessimism.

This is clarity. Krishna is saying — as long as one remains bound to cycles of birth

and death, restlessness is inevitable. But the Mahātmas — those who realize
