threaten thousands of lives in Malaysian hospitals. Our mission is to integrate

science, technology, and behaviour to reduce Multidrug Resistant Organism infections.

Subproject 1 studies Psychosocial and Behavioural Intervention. The study aims to understand

how healthcare workers think, behave, and respond to infection control.

Insights are used to design psycho-behavioural training for better compliance. Subproject 2 studies

Rapid Biosensors for organism detection. They have developed a point-of-care aptasensor for carbapenem-resistant organisms.
