Trapped in Static

I flicker on a broken screen. Someone stares who looks like me.

My mouth moves but there's no sound. Guess the signal's cutting out.

Am I trapped behind the static or the one you see?

Living in the wires with a memory. Now shut me off,

don't turn away. If the screen goes black, I fade.

Hands pressed to the glowing glass. Is that your world or just the

past? Did I ever breathe outside the frame? Or am I
