True Beauty Beyond Appearance

2 Samuel 14:25 "But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his

beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in

him." Absalom’s beauty was unmatched, but his heart would soon reveal a deeper

flaw. This verse reminds us how easily the world exalts outward appearance while

God looks within. Physical perfection cannot cover spiritual emptiness. Absalom’s charm

drew praise, but his pride would later bring ruin. God values a humble and obedient heart

far above outward beauty. In a world that glorifies the visible, believers must remember

that true beauty reflects the image of Christ—gentle, pure, and full of grace.
