million barrels of oil to the U.S., valued at around $2.8 billion, after Nicolás Maduro's

capture. Trump plans to sell the oil at market rates and manage the funds,

benefiting both nations. Energy Secretary Chris Wright is tasked with kicking

off the plan, utilizing storage vessels to move the oil to U.S. ports.

This marks a major pivot in U.S. interests, impacting China, a primary buyer

of Venezuelan oil. Trump also urged Venezuela's interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez,

to sever economic ties with China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba.
