Truth Won’t Be Erased

The president wants to scrub the Smithsonian clean. Erase the scars of slavery

and the theft of native land. He wants our museums bowing to

his twisted whitewash dream, Western values, American pride, but hiding the

scream. Destroying a people's art, their writings, their sacred traditions,

suppressing identities, minimizing existence with precision. Bury the blood, the struggle,

the fire of Black and Brown resistance. Contributions that built this nation now

vanishing in an instant. You think we blind? That we wouldn't

spot this blatant disguise? We wouldn't rise up screaming what this really is?
