On July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800 took off from New York… a routine overnight
flight to Paris. Just 12 minutes later, the plane exploded over the Atlantic.
All 230 people on board died instantly. Witnesses on the ground reported something chilling:
a streak of light shooting upward toward the plane, right before the explosion.
Some described it as a “flare.” Others said it looked like a missile. The official investigation
lasted four years. The conclusion: a spark in the center fuel tank ignited the vapors and caused
the aircraft to blow apart. But here’s the problem — over 200 eyewitnesses
reported seeing an object rising toward the plane. Many were military personnel and pilots.
