Twenty-One Teeth Under My Pillow

Last week I found my daughter's baby teeth under my pillow. All twenty of them. Perfectly arranged

in a circle. My daughter is thirty-four years old and lives three states away. I called her.

She still has all her teeth. I asked who else had a key to my house.

She said nobody. Then she asked why I was whispering. I wasn't whispering. The teeth are back

under my pillow tonight. But now there are twenty-one.
