Understanding Adding and Subtracting Negatives

when adding and subtracting negitives it can be a little hard. for adding them

if one of them is a negitive then it becomes subtraction if that makes sense.for example if the question

is -7+9= then the answer would be 2 because its a lower negitive being added to a possitive

but if its higher tyen the answer is a negitive. if 2 negitives are in place then the

numbers go down but they are getting added. for example -6+-7= -13 because 6+7=13
