What if I told you one of Rome’s forgotten treasures… didn’t bring wealth,
but madness? In the 3rd century, Roman commander Aurelianus Severus seized golden
coins from a rebel tribe. But soldiers who touched them began to suffer terrifying
visions. They claimed coins 'whispered' names. Men disappeared into the forest.
Others refused sleep, terrified. The treasure was sealed in a stone vault,
and Aurelianus ordered it never to be opened. Historians long dismissed this story.
Then in the 1800s, explorers found an empty stone vault near an old
Roman road… …with ancient carvings warning: “Riches bring ruin.” No chest.
