When U.S. athletes win Olympic medals, they don’t just earn glory they

also get cash bonuses from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. 🇺🇸 For the 2024–2025

cycle, Team USA medalists receive about $37,500 for a gold medal, $22,500 for silver,

and $15,000 for bronze, whether they win individually or as part of a team.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics those payouts added up: with the U.S. winning dozens of

medals total USOPC payouts topped around $8.6 million just from medal bonuses. Beyond medal money,

there are emerging athlete support funds including a new initiative that will award

$100,000 just for making a future Olympic team to help athletes train and thrive financially.
