The SAT calculator is actually a cheat code if you know how to use it. When you see a hard
algebra problem asking for a constant that results in no solution, do not touch your
pencil. No solution just means the lines are parallel. Type both nasty
equations into the Desmos tool on your screen. It will literally ask if you want
to add a slider for the missing variable. Click yes. Now,
just drag that slider until the lines run perfectly parallel without touching. That number on the
screen is your answer. You just skipped five minutes of algebra by moving a dot.
