The length of a day on Venus is actually longer than the length of its year,
a unique phenomenon in our solar system. Venus rotates on its axis incredibly slowly,
taking about 243 Earth days to complete just one rotation (one Venus day). However,
because it is relatively close to the Sun, its orbital path is much shorter and faster,
allowing it to complete a full orbit (one Venus year) in only about 225 Earth days.
This means that Venus manages to finish an entire trip around the Sun before it even
completes one full spin on its own axis.
