Warmth at a Safe Distance

On a cold winter night, a small hedgehog named Piko searched for warmth.

He saw a bright fire burning near an abandoned cabin and rushed toward it.

As he came closer, the heat burned his quills, and he cried out in pain.

An old tortoise nearby said gently, “Warmth is good, but too close can hurt.”
