Watch It All Burn

Ash on the counter, bills in a pile. News on the

TV, hate in a smile. Coffee gone bitter, Bible page torn.

I stare at the ceilin', too tired to be warned. Got a fist

full of prayers and a throat full of smoke. Every promise I cared feels like

a joke. So watch it all burn, let the sky turn red.

If the world won't swerve, let it eat itself dead. I'm done holdin'

up what was never my turn. If it all goes down, I'll just watch

it all burn.
