Watched Before We Met

This guy seemed perfect on Tinder. Great smile, good job, made me laugh.

We met at a coffee shop downtown and everything felt normal at first. Then he started

finishing my sentences. Not like cute couple stuff. He knew what I was going to say before

I said it. He mentioned my cat's name. I never told him I had a cat.

When I called him out, he laughed and said I must have mentioned it.

I definitely hadn't. My stomach dropped when he asked if my sister enjoyed her trip to Portland.

I had never mentioned my sister. Not once. I excused myself to the bathroom

and checked our chat history. Nothing. No photos shared, no personal details.
