Your wealth matters way more than your income when it comes to inequality. Mark Zuckerberg
owns a huge chunk of a Hawaiian island, and that's not about his yearly paycheck. It's about accumulated
wealth passed down through generations. Here's the kicker: white families, especially in the
South, have generational wealth from centuries of property ownership, while Black families
were systematically excluded through slavery. This wealth gap keeps growing because
wealth creates more wealth. You can work the same job as someone else and make the
same income, but if they inherited a house and investments while you started from zero,
you're playing completely different games. That's why fixing income inequality alone won't solve
