Ancient Egypt didn't fall to invaders or famine. It collapsed because the Nile stopped
flooding. For three thousand years, Egyptians relied on annual floods
to fertilize their crops and feed millions. But around 1200 BC, a massive climate
shift caused the floods to fail. Harvests vanished. Starvation spread. The economy crumbled.
Without food, the pharaohs lost power, temples closed, and the greatest
civilization on Earth simply withered away. Climate didn't just weaken Egypt.
It erased it. And it happened faster than anyone could stop.
