Dennis Ritchie didn't just write a language; he built the backbone of modern computing at Bell Labs.
C is the absolute OG because it is portable, meaning code written on one machine actually
works on another. That was a massive deal. Everything starts with the main function,
your code’s front door. You control the flow with loops so you do not have
to repeat yourself, and use logic to make decisions. Even text is just a string of characters
ending in a null zero. It looks strict with all those semicolons, but learning C is
the only way to truly understand how your computer thinks.
