Hold a heavy object, your fingers may shake. This isn’t weakness;
it’s your control system at its limits. Your brain sends rapid signals to
muscle fibers for grip. Fibers don’t pull at once; they switch on and
off in motor units. With light objects, adjustments are small and smooth.
With heavy objects, the system works much harder. As muscles fatigue, force output becomes
uneven. That unevenness causes tiny shakes in your fingers. The longer you
hold it, corrections stack up. Stress, caffeine, lack of sleep
make tremors worse. For healthy people, shaking stops once load is gone and muscles recover.
