Why does this ancient clay tablet claim that kings once ruled for twenty thousand years?

It’s called the Sumerian King List. It perfectly documents history, but then it drops

a bombshell: before the Great Flood, eight kings ruled for over 240,000 years.

Historians call it myth. But the list treats these 'immortals' just as factually

as the normal human kings who came after the flood. Did ancient humans have different biology?

Or is this evidence of the Anunnaki bloodlines famously described in the tablets?
