Why do we see stars when we bump ourselves? Have you experienced this?
You bump something, see little flashes of light. It sounds magical, but it’s quite
simple: your brain and eyes work together. To process light. When you bump
yourself, the optic nerve is briefly stimulated. The brain interprets this as light
signals, even if no actual light is present. That’s why you
see those little sparks or stars. Your brain is playing a trick. It reacts to
sudden pressure like a flash. This happens with light pressure on closed eyes – but
don’t press too hard! So every time you see stars, it’s really just
