Wisdom of Wolves: Observe Before Acting

Wolves never attack what they don't understand. When a wolf pack encounters something

unfamiliar in their territory, they don't charge in. They circle it.

They watch. They wait. And this behavior has kept them alive for thousands of

years. Humans do the opposite. We see something strange and immediately approach it,

touch it, investigate it. That's why wolves survive and humans get hurt.

Next time you're hiking and find something unusual, a weird structure, an odd smell,

fresh tracks you don't recognize, do what the wolf does. Stop.
