There's a planet where it rains glass sideways at 5,400 miles per hour.
HD 189733b, a cobalt blue marble floating 63 light years away. From a distance,
it looks like Earth. But step onto its surface... Molten glass shards
would slice through you like invisible razors. The temperature hits 1,800 degrees.
Ancient sailors told stories of blue worlds, where gods tested mortals with impossible
storms. They weren't entirely wrong. Then there's Gliese 436b,
the burning ice planet. Water exists as hot ice, a state that
shouldn't be possible. Imagine touching ice. This burning ice would sear your skin.
