You Are Not Disposable

I'm so tired of feeling like a disposable person, used up and tossed away,

like I'm nothing, nothing of value, not worth their time. Yes,

I struggle. I make mistakes, too many to mention. But is there

no one who is willing to just reach their hand out to pull me

from the water that is drowning my soul, that is stealing my last breath?

There have been a few who tried to share some light

to help me escape. But in the end, it proves to

be too much and I'm sent away again into the darkness of despair.
