We often hear that, "I don't teach math. I don't teach STEM. I teach the whole child.
These are just limited skill areas that are passed down, that are forced down,
uh, from the primary grades into, uh, preschool or kindergarten
or something." No. I, I, I don't agree. I understand that
if you're doing worksheets in preschool, somebody inappropriately moved down not very good teaching techniques
from the primary or kindergarten grades into preschool, and that's unfortunate. But you cannot de-
